In one of my classes last semester we had an exercise called ‘Private Moment’ and when I performed my Private Moment, I improvised this musical idea. I’ve been coming back to it here and there since then, trying different versions. All this week I’ve been trying to write it down in a way that feels natural to me, but I still haven’t found a final version. But here’s a version with scordatura, pizz and practice mute!
